From Loewe’s Spring 2010 ready-to-wear collection. The model is Frida Gustavsson. I found the rest of the show fairly Country Club bland, but I do love the glamour of this leather coat.

Ahh, so much to love in this one. Clingy striped sweaters, waist belts, pencil skirts, retro disc fascinators, crystal-covered cats eye glasses, seamed Cuban heel stockings (even in purple!) and rhinestone-covered strappy platform heels. But most of all – happy, laughing, smiling, dancing models! How wonderful.

Bebaroque Hosiery
Having been seeing a lot of swing girls at events wearing embellished stockings (remember Katie Anderson’s floral patterned stockings here?), I was delighted to stumble across Scottish company Bebaroque. I love the sailor blue pinup prints on opaque white tights!

David Beckham Emporio Armani underwear campaign
Apologies for not posting much this week, I’ve been working on a little side project that y’all are going to love! Stay tuned, but in the meantime, a little retro eye candy, David Beckham’s most recent Emporio Armani underwear campaign. With the slicked hair and his tattoos, it reminds me of the retro sailor campaign for Jean Paul Gaultier parfum. Maybe I’ll try to dig some of those images up as well…
