1920s attire – pics of the week

I saw this beautiful ad from a 1926 fashion magazine on Etsy and was amazed by the variations and detailing of the gowns for sale. So, I looked through my Pinterest pages and pulled up some real ones 🙂

Le’odance shoes

I had never heard of the Le’odance brand of dance shoe until I bought a pair off someone who was selling them because they were too big. They are a French company and I have to say, they are THE most comfortable (of the more formal heeled, raw leather-soled swing dance shoes) that I have ever owned. So comfy and move well on the floor. I wish they had an outlet in Australia. Great low and medium heels for Balboa and Lindy with so many colours and styles. Check out some of my favourite ones. I love the duo-toned ‘Saby’.

Vecona Vintage – 1930s inspiration

Some of of the beautiful 1930s loungewear inspired items that Vecona Vintage carry in their range. I want them all!! The sailor pants are especially gorgeous. I wish more companies would start doing the ‘low rise’ cut in ladies trousers again. So much more stylish and comfortable. The ‘Cap Calloway’ cap is also a winner!
